| General San Martín had a dream: one great unified big Latin-American country.
But it came out an illusion and he died in France, embittered.
Today the results of our field-work could perhaps
give him some consolation: Argentina, Chile, Ecuador,
Mexico and Peru
all plant very similar warning signs. |
|
All these countries find each other at the high-number end
in our boulder count.
They have also in common that the warning sign features a vehicle often with lights
and a license plate, sometimes even with a driver (see Argentina).
We're eagerly waiting for samples from Columbia and Venezuela. |
