Falling Rocks in Vietnam

Cat Ba Island, XI.2003; pict. M. Quick

This is one of those finds that makes clouds to dissolve and the sky turn blue. A nice old fashioned drawing - not very realistic, I agree - but giving me a shock.
I happen, from time to time, to browse an astronomical magazine and one of the regular items there is a black hole. I was never able to form more than a blurry understanding of the thing but starting now You may say black hole and my mind will bring this particular roadsign to my inner eye. And I'll instantly know that a black hole is gobbling up stars with a greedy mouth. But I digress.
The boulder count is 35. This impressive number brings Vietnam together with the Philippines (45) and Ecuador (42) at the top of our rock statistics. The (absolute ?) minimum of boulders is two, found in f.e. Belgium and Malaysia.
